So tonight Becca, Jared and I went to see The Promise. It was good. We saw it at this little dive of a movie theater (which was awesome) that plays all these cool foreign films. Overall, I liked it. It's too bad their special effects budget wasn't bigger because some of the special effects came across as really cheesy and consequently distracted from the story (which was great).

Kind of a dive? That place was pretty nice actually. Obviously you never watched a movie at the tower in Salt Lake... I don't even consider that a dive. We'll visit some dives. Then you'll like that theatre a lot more.
By dive I meant it was really small (room and screen size-wise) compared to the nice theaters out here and they charged the same.
