So this girl that Jason knows (her name is Seretta...like Beretta but with an "S" for "Supergreatcakedecorator") is in this cake decorating class and she invited us over tonight for cake. It was rad. As you can tell from the pics, they look great, especially the one that looks like a freakin tree trunk! You might not be able to tell from how small the pic is, but that's bark on the side of the tree trunk cake (Ok, not really; she melted chocolate chips into a thin layer and then broke it up into bark-like pieces.) All and all, it was quite a tasty evening. Now I'm on a sugar high and can't fall asleep. Thus, I'm up late once again posting on my blog.

In honor of cake day, I'm leaving a post on your blog. How nice of Sberetta to invite you over for some delicious tree cake. What a smart girl; taking a class that would require boys to come over and eat your food/hang out with you. I might just take her idea and run with it...

I will make sure you are informed of any future cake days my friend...and tragically Jason was NOT wearing his cake day shirt; however, the thought did cross his mind (it was dirty). Next time I'm sure he will.
It's been well over a year since that beautiful cake night. As a friend recently stumbled across this blog, we were shocked and thrilled to see cake night posted!
