Today I...

  • spent close to 15 hours at the office
  • rode in a taxi for the first time
  • bought $65 worth of magazines from one of those little magazine shops on the street
  • used someone elses credit card to do it
  • cut out pictures for a collage
  • walked in the rain without an umbrella
  • read the Wall Street Journal
  • ate chinese food out of one of one of those little boxes
  • had the food ordered to the office
  • googled my heart out
  • listened to my ipod
  • found out that according to BYU I'm technically not enrolled in my internship for credit yet
  • added someone to my buddy list
  • learned a new word
  • watched the sunset (and it was amazing)
  • talked to someone about the Church
  • had a song dedicated to me
  • harmonized to the song "Summer Nights" from the movie Grease
  • stayed up talking to people and writing this blog entry instead of going to bed

Thanks for the info ryebrye...they actually are on top of things. I just checked and I've been added. I actually had someone from the internship office call me and tell me they would fill out the add/drop card for me since I was already in NY and then I had someone from BYU call to tell me that it couldn't be added because of a hold on my account...yada yada yada...anyways, just checked and it's all taken care of. THANK GOODNESS.

PS - I must say that I was slightly disappointed when my remark about buying magazines from one of the shops on the street didn't evoke some racy comment from you. ;)

Happy to hear you're loving New York. Where did you end up living? I'll be there in about three weeks and still haven't found a spot. Did you go through the stake housing list?

What kind of magazines did you buy? $65 dollars worth? Were they for you or for someone else?
