Not quite my idea of a weekend

So...this weekend was spent working with Tyler on my parent's house. You see, my parents build an addition to our house a while ago and when they did, we got a new roof, but for whatever reason they only had half the roof done. I don't think they had money for the material and stuff to do the whole thing, so they just put a roof on the addition and then replaced the old existing roof on that side of the house as well.
Anyways, the important part of this story is that Tyler and I are finishing what was started. Here are some pics of how we spent our Saturday.

We tore off the old roof
and tore off the old felt at this junction in the roof so that we could install ice and water shield

Ah, I love the look of a freshly felted roof. Ooh look, there's Tyler in the background. You can see where we tore up the old felt so that we could put ice and water shield on (that junction where Tyler is standing, the rake, and the bottom edges of the roof).Isn't that roof justu beautiful.
