337 Project

Apparently the owner of an old building in Salt Lake that is set for demolition in June opened the building up to local artists and their "gallery" is now available for viewing. If you're around the Salt Lake area the 25th-27th you really ought to make it out there to see what's taken place. I haven't seen it yet myself, but trust me: I don't plan on missing this experience. There is no doubt in my mind that it's amazing.

The artists ranged from graffiti to formally trained contemporary artists and everything in between. Some of my friends (those reading this post may very well know them or perhaps even be them) contributed to this amazing art project. People like Sam Gray, Chris Coy, and Bardi Haliti. You can see some pictures of the project unfolding at their individual blogs or go to the project website at http://www.337project.org

Also, take a look at this short trailer for a documentary about the project:

What's the big deal? Pace, can you really be that shallow?

Yancy this is random but when I've watched American Idol off and on this season, I have repeatedly thought that you and Blake look/seem a bit similar. That's not a bad thing, by the way! How are you anyway?
