As of 11/08, got an invitation from a fellow reader of Lifehacker about a week ago (and then a separate unexpected invite from a friend a day or two ago which I passed on to the wife). Been messing with Wave for about a week now and it's cool. Just wish I had more opportunity to use it to it's full extent (i.e. work setting with coworkers)

As of 10/16, still no invitation :(
Then again...you can't really enjoy it all that much without friends who also have access to Google Wave. I guess I can wait.
How about an invitation to preview Google Wave...
Google is sending out 100,000 invites today to developers and select users that signed up and offered to give feedback. Wednesday is technically half over here on the East Coast, but I'm still hoping that I'll get an email. :)
One can always hope.
